If you will be calling or coming to our office to speak with someone regarding your citation, please have your citation with you as we will need information from it in order to be able to assist you.

If you have obtained an attorney to represent you, please be advised that we will not be able to speak with you directly; we will only be able to speak with your attorney regarding your case.

If you are 18 years of age or older, please be advised that we can only speak with you (or your attorney if you have obtained one) about your case.   If you have been cited with No Proof of Insurance and you had valid insurance on the motor vehicle or trailer at the time you received the citation, you have 10 days from the date you received the citation to bring proof of insurance on the motor vehicle or trailer to the County Attorney's Office.  We will make a copy of your citation and proof of insurance, and we will then contact your insurance company to verify that your insurance was valid at the time you received the citation.  If you provide proof of insurance to our office within 10 days of the date on your citation AND your insurance was valid at the time you received the citation, the charge of No Proof of Insurance will be dismissed at no cost to you.

If you have been cited with No Valid Registration or Out of State Plates (OSP), our office may allow you 10 days from the date on your citation to properly register your motor vehicle or trailer and bring the citation and registration slip to our office.  Upon receiving proof that your motor vehicle or trailer is properly registered within 10 days of the date on your citation, we may dismiss the charge of No Valid Registration or Out of State Plates at no cost to you.  Please be advised that this is no longer required by statute and the dismissal may be done at our office's discretion.
