The Dakota County Sheriff's Department furnishes the following programs to the public:

Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) in all the schools in the County
G.R.E.A.T. offered this year (1997) in the South Sioux City Schools with hopes of expanding to the other schools.
K-9 programs for all organizations requesting it.

Community Service help on all public functions such as:
